5 Star provides several types of treatment to address the large variety of construction types and levels of infestation that exist in southern Arizona. The treatments listed below are base treatments for specific construction types and will be tailored further, during the inspection process, to meet all of your termite control needs. Please see the Application of ETT444® page for further information on 5 Star's patented termite treatment process.

This treatment is 5 Star's base for having a renewable Contract. It works for all construction types that have a concrete foundation. Below is the basic description of the treatment found on our Termite Protection Proposal forms. After a proper inspection of the structure, the inspector will make note of other specific areas to be treated to suit all your home's needs.
Drill and treat perimeter walls using the patented process ETT444®. Treat areas of plumbing in bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry. Fill all drilled holes. A one year written Statement of Guarantee will be issued upon completion. A multi-year renewal option will be offered at the end of the initial Guarantee term.

Full treatments are also preformed to residential and commercial buildings that have sub-floor crawl spaces instead of concrete foundations. In this case 5 Star would treat the floor joists (if applicable), the support piers, and skirting/footer/stem wall around the perimeter. Access to crawl space must be made by customer. If there is less than 18 inches of vertical access in any area of the crawl space, 5 Star may have to also treat the soil of these areas. A one year written Statement of Guarantee will be issued upon completion. A multi-year renewal option will be offered at the end of the initial Guarantee term.
The Superior treatment process is nearly identical to the Full Treatment. The major difference is how much more thorough the ETT444® application is to the structure. Every last inch of linear wall void is treated to eliminate every possible entry point. This treatment will require a larger initial investment than the Full treatment, however the likely hood of termites re-infesting the structure is greatly reduced. As a result of the extra attention paid to all the walls within the structure, we offer a two year initial Guarantee. This also helps offset the increased initial cost. A multi-year renewal option will be offered at the end of the initial Guarantee term.
5 Star's preconstruction-treatment alternative is a multi-treatment process of applying ETT444® to building materials after the foundation has been poured and framing has been erected. The treatments occur at different times during the building process to provide continuous ETT444® application to all edible and/or passable building materials. Every linear foot of framing and wall void that sits on the foundation will be treated. 5 Star's pre-treat alternative provides unparalleled coverage and longevity against termite infestation for your new home or commercial building. We offer a six year Guarantee, instead of the industry standard five, with an option to renew for an additional four years.
Upon completion of the slab being poured, 5 Star will treat ALL interior and exterior walls in two phases. The first phase will take place after all framing has been erected but prior to the sheetrock being hung. 5 Star will apply a liquid ETT444® treatment to the base plate and bottom 6" of ALL studs. The second phase takes place after the sheetrock is up. 5 Star will apply a second ETT444® Foam treatment to ALL walls through the sheetrock and fill the drill holes made. A SIX year written Guarantee will be issued upon completion (see Statement of Guarantee). A FOUR year renewal option will be offered at the end of the Guarantee term (see Statement of Guarantee).
Drywood termite spot treatments are localized treatments using ETT444® to rid infested wood members of the very destructive drywood termite. The infested wood will be drilled into a multitude of times to gain access to the termite's galleries and chambers. ETT444® will then be applied to the interior of the infested wood. After completion, all drilled holes will be filled. When applicable, ETT444® will be topically applied to the exterior of the wood as well. Drill and treat the located area(s) of infestation using the patented process ETT444®. Fill all drill holes. Upon completion, a one year written Statement of Guarantee will be issued covering the treated area(s).
