Rain Gutters Work
My name is Tony and I have been a Five Star customer for over 10 years. After having several attacks on my house by those angry little termites I got a visit from the owner Shelby. She made a recomendation and said " your going to think I'm crazy but it would make a big difference with your termite problem If you would put rain gutters on your house." Since I had the gutters installed I have not had any problems-Knock on the wood they didn't get to.I also want to state that ALL the employees at Five Star have the same goal and that to satisfy the customer. He is always punctual and confirms the appointment with a call the night before. lfthe weather is bad and he needs to cancel, he calls and schedules a new appointment at our convenience. One of the things that makes us the happiest is that with our animals, he has never failed to close the gates behind him, removing the worry of them getting out of the yard. The animals were our primary reason for using your company. We wanted an environmentally friendly service that would not harm our animals (dogs and cats).
The office staff has also been just as responsive when we have needed to re-schedule. They have been the perfect intermediary between us and Steve for any deviations in our schedule

No more headaches!
I wanted to tell you how happy my husband and I are with your method of pest control.
The company that had treated our home prior to your services, told me that we would be rid of the termites. I told him I had chemical sensitivies and he told me I would NOT even smell their chemicals. Well, I suffered from headaches and sore throats for 2 months after they had treated our home. We had to get an indoor air purifier to remove the poisons and odors from our home. When he came back one year later, he told me we had termites again and needed to treat our home again! That is when I told him NO....
Then I heard about your method of treating homes and you said it was safe and effective. So, we decided to take your word on it. We had our home treated in January of 2001. Since that time we have NOT seen any type of creepy crawlers in our home, nor have we seen any evidence of termites! AND the best part for me is that I have NOT had any sore throats or headaches with your treatment either! A friend of mine asked me said, 'You mean you haven't had any crickets, roaches, spiders?' And I told him NO.......

Baits, then switched!
I have been plagued with termites for about 15 years. For the last 7 years, I have employed the services of a "Baiting System". This proved ineffective. The termite activity got worse, and the destruction to my house is painfully obvious. I have been very disappointed with the lack of results from the Baiting System.
My salvation from these menacing, destructive insects was 5 Star Termite & Pest Control. They treated every wall in my house (to block all entrances) and the results have been 100% satisfactory. Thank you, 5 Star!

Treated my home with respect
I wanted to take the time to let you know how well Bill and Dan represented 5 Star Termite. My appointment was for 1 pm and they called to ask if they could come earlier at 11:30, they were running ahead of schedule. Well that worked out fine for me.
When they arrived, I explained that the fridge needed to be pulled out and they said it was no problem. I appreciated that they gave me time to vacuum behind it before sliding it back in place. They were conscientious about thoroughly treating all areas. They had to find alternate paths in a couple of places because of adobe and metal barriers, and also treated the doorway. They explained everything that was done and they made every effort to be neat. They were done in 45 minutes!
They were professional and accommodating and they treated my home with respect. I'm very pleased. Now let's hope the little buggers don't come back!

Great job!
I recently contracted with your company for a full treatment for termites upon finding an infestation in my garage. On 05/16/01 your company sent out a couple of young men to do the job at my residence. One of the young men introduced himself as Jason, and unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the other worker accompanying Jason. I found both of the workers very personable. They went right to work and continued working without interruption until the job was completed. They both appeared to take the job seriously and worked industriously, without breaks. When they began drilling holes in my residence to apply the chemical I was filled with apprehension that there would be cosmetic damage to the stucco of my residence. This apprehension would only prove to be unfounded, because Jason did a marvelous job of mixing paint with a patch to plug the holes drilled after treatment. The job was truly excellent. I had to look carefully to find any of the patches.
More importantly, upon completion of the job Jason gave me the benefit of his expertise, explaining about the chemicals used and what I should expect in the immediate and distant future regarding the treatment and infestation. Needless to say, Jason and his partner represented your company very well. I am writing this letter as a follow-up to a telephone conversation I had with your company today. I would very much appreciate it if you would relate my sentiments to the two workers who did the job at my residence. They are both very professional, hard working, and a credit to your company.

Thank you so much for getting rid of our powder post beetle dilemma! I can't say enough great things about your perseverance on eliminating the beetles.
The palapas we have are what makes the home so wonderful and your creative solutions and your love for the job were what made the beetles go away. Our job was unique in that it was in our home in Rocky Point, Mexico. We couldn't find people down here that had the correct equipment and knew how to correctly attack the problem.

We have used 5-Star Termite and Pest Control since August, 2005, to control our termite problem at our SaddleBrooke home, and are very satisfied with their service. I did considerable research on the internet on the various methods of termite control, and came to the conclusion that the method used by 5 Star (patented process ETT444) was the most cost effective and efficient method of controlling subterranean termites. 5 Star treated the house by drilling small holes through the exterior walls about every foot and 12 inches above the ground (and through one wall from the inside, when a decorative structure at that level prevented them from drilling from the outside) and pumped a chemical foam substance completely around the interior of the walls of the house, creating a chemical barrier that repels and eventually kills the termites who get far enough to contact the barrier. They also filled all drill holes and painted over with matching paint, which I provided. They provided a Termite Protection Proposal, stating the price for the initial treatment, their statement of guarantee, and an estimate of the cost for an annual renewal of the protection agreement for an additional 9 years, which includes an annual inspection and return visits at no additional charge in the event termites return to an area of infestation.
I highly recommend them for treatment of your termite problem.
Thank you also for helping to keep the termites out of our house. Your process and employees do a great job, and all we have seen since your 2005 treatment is an occasional presence of exploratory termite tubes.

Wright Flight Program
Dear Shelby,
I would like to take a few minutes to thank you for your generous donation to the February 12th 2011 flight for Mesquite Elementary School. As a Mother of one of the participants, I wanted you to know that your contribution did not go un-noticed.My son Cameron was one of the 28 kids who earned a spot to fly. It was a morning filled with excitement for Cameron. We have some great pictures of his day. Cameron let me know that this experience “was the most amazing day of his life”! Mind you his life of 11 years.I wanted to let you know that Cameron wasn’t even guaranteed to fly at the completion of the Wright Flight program, due to the amount of kids who signed up. Cameron and I discussed the benefits of Wright Flight and he made the decision to complete the academic portion of the program knowing full well he might not get to fly. Two weeks before the final exam. Cameron received the news that in fact, if he passed the final exam with 85% or above he would get to fly!Cameron went up solo with retired Navy pilot Cpt. Steve Wilson. Cpt. Wilson taught Cameron about the safety procedures pre and post flight and many other aspects during their flight. Cameron got to take control of the aircraft and bank right! I will let you know that Cameron had never flown in his life until this day! I know this experience will never be forgotten by Cameron. Cameron was able to set goals and achieve them through this program. I know he will be able to use the tools he learned in everyday life growing up. Cameron has learned with hard work anything is possible and you will be rewarded!
